4. Can I connect more than one Bluetooth device to TheTrustyOne?

You can pair TheTrustyOne to up to eight different Bluetooth devices. TheTrustyOne supports “multipoint” with newest software, so you can connect two phones simultaneously to receive calls from either one. Alternatively, you can connect TheTrulyOne to a phone and a music player.

5. How can I update the software on my car kit?

Updating your software is easy. Just install the novero software update tool on your PC and connect TheTrustyOne with a USB cable through the micro-USB connector on the remote control.

Yes, if you update the software of your car kit, you’ll get the latest software incl. the new features free of charge.

7. When I call people using TheTrustyOne, they say they can’t hear me very well. What should I do?

TheTrustyOne has an adjustable microphone, so your sound quality will be affected if it’s pointing in the wrong direction. Make sure the microphone is facing towards you when you’re in your seat.

12. How can I switch off voice output ?

Press and hold the wheel for more than 5 seconds to enter the language selection menu. Then turn the wheel until you hear “voice prompts off” and press the green button to confirm.

13. TheTrustyOne does not offer my language for voice outputs, what shall I do?

There are more language packs available, which can be installed by updating the software of the device. Please start the update procedure and check, whether there is a suitable package available.

14. How do I change the voice output language?

16. my phone does not connect automatically when I turn the iginition key

Go to the Bluetooth menu on your phone and set TheTrustyOne as an authorized device. This will allow it to connect automatically without a user confirmation.

17. how do I pair my phone or music player with my car kit?

Use your phone or music player to search for Bluetooth devices as described in the user guide. Select ‘novero TheTrustyOne’ and enter the code 0000. Don’t forget to set TheTrustyOne as an authorized device - this will allow it to connect automatically.
