1. how can I pair my phone with TheFirstOne?
Press TheFirstOne’s button for more than two seconds to turn it on. It will automatically enter the pairing mode. Now use your phone to search for Bluetooth devices as described in the user manual. Enter the pin code 0000 and you’re paired!
2. how can I charge TheFirstOne?
TheFirstOne has a universal micro USB connector. You can charge it in your car using the car dock and the DC charger, at home using the desk stand with your wall charger or in the office using the USB cable with your laptop.
3. where can I find the quick-guide?
The quick-guide is inside the sales carton box. After unpacking the sales package you can easily open the box to see the quick-guide.
4. where can I find the user guide?
There are two places to find the user guide. Either you find it on the mini CD in your sales package or you can download it from manuals >>.
5. how should I wear TheFirstOne?
You can wear the headset on both sides. You should try different earpieces to find the perfect fit. After attaching the headset to your ear it should point towards your mouth.
6. how do I check my headset is still on?
TheFirstOne blinks blue every 15 seconds when turned on. Plus, you can see the headset symbol in your mobile phone display.
7. what should I do with the sales package?
Why not use the two acrylic boxes for sweets, flowers, pencils, jewellery, etc? and the sales package holder can double as a handy desk stand for TheFirstOne, in your office or home.
8. when will TheFirstOne be available in Europe and the USA?
You’ll find TheFirstOne in selected european countries and north america from june 2009.
9. which languages are supported?
TheFirstOne’s manual comes in many languages including English, French, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, German, Portuguese, Canadian-French, US–English, Dutch, US-Spanish, Brazilian-Portuguese and others.
10. I can’t pair my phone with TheFirstOne
Please check that your headset is blinking red and blue before starting to pair from your device. If it is not, press the multi-function button for 2 seconds to turn it on.
11. I’ve used TheFirstOne with other phones but now I can’t pair it with my new device
Try deleting the pairing list by pressing the multi-function button and volume down at the same time.
12. what’s that? the audio volume is too low
You can increase the volume via the volume button. Also, don’t forget to check that you have removed the hygienic foil from the earbud.
13. where should I install the car dock?
It’s best to install your car dock near the 12V power socket for charging TheFirstOne via the novero DC charger. But make sure that it’s not positioned close to an airbag or anywhere it could harm you in case of a collision.
